Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 servings
For the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed items into a pot, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature completely. Transfer to a clean bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for around a month.
Preparing the Premix: Pour every spirits and syrup into a large bottle, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then filter it best through a fine cloth, making it perfectly clear.
To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into your stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring gently for a minute to chill. Strain into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries adding the final touch with a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
